Job Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer will manage and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, SCOM, ADFS, PKI services, PowerShell automation, and Entra ID-related operations. The role requires advanced technical troubleshooting, adherence to ITSM processes, strong documentation practices, and proactive improvement of infrastructure reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

Windows Server & AD Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments
• Manage Active Directory, domains, OUs, user accounts, group policies
• Handle domain services and ensure secure and stable operations
• Maintain accurate documentation for servers and AD configurations

DNS, SCOM, ADFS & PKI Management

• Administer DNS infrastructure
• Monitor IT systems health using SCOM
• Support ADFS configurations, federation issues, SSO monitoring
• Manage PKI operations (cert requests, renewals, service monitoring)

PowerShell Automation

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts
• Automate administrative tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

Entra ID / Identity Services

• Perform monitoring and support for Entra ID Connect & Entra ID
• Resolve sync issues, access issues, and elevate complex L3 items
• Work with Microsoft Graph for identity and automation activities

Security, Compliance & ITSM

• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance across Windows & AD
• Follow ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Request Management)
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support for critical incidents

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with new technologies and best practices
• Recommend improvements to strengthen infrastructure performance and security

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
