Job summary

Logixhealth is seeking a System Administrator with hands-on experience in Azure administration and Windows Server operations in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, identity management, and SRE processes to maintain reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of system administration, infrastructure operations, or cloud support experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure administration experience and exposure to Azure datacenter SRE processes.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible; scripting with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer Azure infrastructure with focus on availability, reliability, monitoring, and best practices.
• Perform Azure administration tasks across compute, storage, networking, identity, backup, governance, security, and cost optimization.
• Assist with SRE activities including incident management, change support, RCA, and runbooks.
• Use Terraform for IaC deployments and Ansible or scripting for configuration and automation.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, patching, hardening).
• Support Microsoft Entra ID and Intune for identity, access, endpoint compliance, and device configuration.
• Monitor infrastructure using SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, dashboards, alerts.
• Support backup, restore, DR checks, documentation, SOPs, and compliance activities.
• Provide basic SQL Server administration support and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in on-call support and incident post-mortems.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a System Administrator with 35 years of experience in Azure administration, Windows Server operations, automation, monitoring, and identity management. The role will support day-to-day cloud and infrastructure operations, assist with SRE processes, and help maintain reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise systems.

Role & responsibilities

• Support and administer Azure infrastructure operations with focus on availability, reliability, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Perform Azure administration tasks across compute, storage, networking, identity, backup, governance, security, and cost optimization under defined processes.
• Assist with SRE activities including incident management, change support, problem management, RCA, service reviews, runbooks, and continuous improvement.
• Use Terraform for standard Infrastructure as Code deployments and Ansible or scripting for configuration, patching, and routine operational automation.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, patching, hardening, and performance issues.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID and Intune activities related to identity, access, endpoint compliance, device configuration, and application deployment.
• Monitor infrastructure using SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, dashboards, alerts, and related Azure monitoring tools.
• Support backup, restore, disaster recovery checks, documentation, SOPs, and operational compliance activities.
• Provide basic SQL Server administration support and coordinate with database, network, security, cloud, and application teams.
• Participate in on-call support, incident response, and post-incident review activities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure operations, Azure operations, or cloud support.
• Good hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure administration and exposure to Azure datacenter SRE processes.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and routine infrastructure automation tasks.
• Good Windows Server administration skills, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, patching, and hardening.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, RBAC, MFA, SSO, conditional access, and hybrid identity concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerts, and dashboards.
• Basic SQL Server administration and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or similar virtualization platforms is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills.
