Job summary

NIIT is seeking a seasoned IT professional to support end users, maintain desktops, and monitor the IT infrastructure. The role includes connectivity management, router/firewall handling, and coordinating with ISPs for service delivery, plus account management and server monitoring.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8+ years in system administration or infrastructure engineering, with a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

• Helpdesk support to end users.
• Desktop maintenance: installation, AV, Windows updates, general upkeep.
• Monitoring of IT infrastructure and compliance.
• Providing connectivity and end-user devices/tools to intranet and internet; managing routers, firewalls, IPS, switches, VPN.
• Liaising with ISP and service providers for service delivery.
• Account management (Account IDs & Mailboxes).
• Server and network event monitoring.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Responsible for Helpdesk support to end users.


• Desktop Maintenance activities Installation, AV, Windows update, general upkeep


• Monitoring of IT Infrastructure; Links/Compliance


• Responsible for providing connectivity. End-User devices/tools to Intranet and Internet connectivity. Involves managing Connectivity device Router, firewall, Ips, Switches, Wi-Fi access point, Physical Connectivity, VPN, Extranet. Liaising with ISP and other service providers on the delivery side of Services.


• - International and Domestic Contact Center


• Technology are from Microsoft for systems/Application and Cisco/HP on networking. MS SQL, SharePoint, Exchange, Active Directory, TATA Contact center


• Account Management (Account ID & Mailboxes)


• Server and Network event monitoring etc.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

• 5–8+ years of hands‑on experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering
