Job summary

Acespire Tech Consulting in Bangalore invites an experienced Senior Supply Chain Solution Consultant to drive enterprise planning transformations. You will lead Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP initiatives, and optimize inventory using modern planning platforms.

You will guide clients across CPG, Retail, Consumer Goods, and Manufacturing with hands-on implementation of SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or o9, and mentor junior consultants in delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, IBP, or Inventory Optimization.
• Strong domain experience in CPG, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience implementing/configuring planning platforms (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, Oracle SCP).
• Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MEIO, S&OP/IBP, MRP/MPS/DRP, Forecasting and Replenishment.
• Excellent client-facing consultative and workshop facilitation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement forecasting solutions aligned to customer demand behaviour and market trends.
• Lead demand segmentation strategies including ABC/XYZ, lifecycle, and channel-based segmentation.
• Configure planning modules in SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or equivalent APS.
• Establish forecast accuracy KPIs: MAPE, WMAPE, Forecast Bias, FVA.
• Design constrained and unconstrained supply planning processes with capacity and material constraints.
• Build MPS, MRP, DRP, replenishment frameworks across multi-echelon supply chains.
• Develop inventory optimization strategies including safety stock, reorder point, min/max, service-level policies and MEIO analysis.
• Redesign S&OP/IBP processes and governance structures for enterprise clients.
• Build executive dashboards and what-if scenario planning capabilities.
• Mentor junior consultants and support capability development.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Solution Consultant with strong expertise in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP, and Inventory Optimization to lead enterprise planning transformation initiatives for clients in the CPG, Retail, Consumer Goods, and Manufacturing domains.

The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and solutioning expertise across integrated business planning processes along with hands-on experience implementing modern planning platforms such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or o9.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Design and implement statistical and AI/ML-driven forecasting solutions aligned to customer demand behaviour and market trends
• Lead demand segmentation strategies including ABC/XYZ, lifecycle, and channel-based segmentation
• Configure and optimize Demand Planning modules in SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or equivalent APS platforms
• Establish and monitor forecast accuracy KPIs including MAPE, WMAPE, Forecast Bias, and Forecast Value Add (FVA)

Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization

• Design constrained and unconstrained supply planning processes integrating capacity, lead times, and material constraints
• Build MPS, MRP, DRP, replenishment, and deployment planning frameworks across multi-echelon supply chains
• Develop inventory optimization strategies including safety stock, reorder point, min/max, and service-level-based inventory policies
• Conduct Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) analysis across manufacturing and distribution networks

S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

• Assess and redesign S&OP/IBP processes to improve alignment across demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning
• Define planning governance structures, review cadences, escalation paths, and decision-making frameworks
• Build executive dashboards and what-if scenario planning capabilities
• Enable end-to-end integrated business planning processes for enterprise clients

Solution Architecture & Consulting

• Lead solution design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable planning solutions
• Define planning data models, integration touchpoints, master data requirements, and planning hierarchies
• Mentor junior consultants and support capability development within the planning practice

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, IBP, or Inventory Optimization
• Strong domain experience in CPG, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing industries
