Job summary

Thoucentric in Bengaluru is seeking a Supply Planning Consultant to lead supply chain planning engagements and deliver impact across industries. You will build strategies to improve customer satisfaction on ongoing supply chain technology projects and guide multi‑year programs with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires 6–10 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills (R/Python/SQL), and experience with S&OP, demand and inventory planning.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of supply-chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, and inventory optimization.
• Minimum two implementations using best-in-class supply-chain software tools (e.g., O9) or custom applications with advanced algorithms (AI/ML).
• 6 to 10 years of experience in the Supply Chain Planning domain with technology exposure.
• Flexibility to work on any supply-chain technology; training will be provided if needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction with an emphasis on follow-through and reporting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a drive for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team working on multiple geographically dispersed projects, ensuring on-time delivery and exceeding client expectations.
• Deliver Supply Chain Planning consulting engagements across industries, including Demand & Supply Planning, S&OP, Distribution Planning, MRP, Inventory Planning, Replenishment Planning, and Network Optimization.
• Bring structure to unstructured environments, manage ambiguity, and lead teams to success in a fast-paced setting.
• Assist clients in the selection, implementation, and adoption of supply chain solutions.
• Provide functional and business process expertise on projects involving consultants, subcontractors, remote resources, and client employees.
• Manage cross-functional programs/projects involving multiple client stakeholders and vendors.
• Guide clients on industry best practices and process benchmarks.
• Provide leadership and guidance to consultants, ensuring project discipline and accountability.
• Help build the Supply Chain practice at Thoucentric and support pre-sales activities and new solution development.
• Create reusable assets to accelerate solution delivery.
• Juggle multiple conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive manner.
