Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engines in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Senior Supervisor to oversee engine assembly and disassembly activities in production. Candidate should have a Diploma in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering with >8 years of experience in production/assembly, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering (AME) or graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering.
• More than 8 years of experience in production/assembly/repair environments.
• Fluent English language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Gate Manager.
• Supervise Disassembly supervisors responsible for segregation of pats, modules during engine/module/sub-module disassembly and support during assembly of the modules and engine.
• Assembly/Disassembly/inspection of engines/Modules, in accordance with applicable documents, respecting safety and quality regulations.
• Perform maintenance operations per technical instructions, respecting safety, quality and environmental norms.
• Perform detailed in-depth inspections, dimensional checks of parts, modules, sub-modules and accessories as per maintenance data.
• Ensure all instructions and procedures are followed according to quality manuals and inspection standards.
• Ensure calibrated tools are in good condition and verification checks are conducted prior to use.
• Record inspections in approved format and upload into IT systems.
• Perform double verifications of work per technical quality procedures.
• Maintain positive identification segregation as necessary.
• Prepare shop finding reports when non-conformities are identified and disposition actions closed in service orders.
• Report significant defects, discrepancies, incidents, accidents and ambiguities as per company procedure.
• Any other related work as instructed by Safran Aircraft Engines Management to fulfil engine operations function.
