Job summary

Safran in Hyderabad seeks a Senior Engineer for Quality Audits to support the annual audit plan and ensure non-conformances are closed with CAPA. You will supervise supplier quality processes and ensure compliance with monitoring requirements.

The role requires AME Diploma or BTech in Aviation, with– preferably– over 5 years of auditing experience, fluent English, and strong documentation skills. This permanent position is based in Asia, India.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and executing the annual internal audit plan.
• Prepare checklists including safety aspects of assigned areas and obtain approval.
• Carry out scheduled audits and ensure non-conformances are closed on time.
• Brief auditees and HODs on non-conformances and implications.
• Ensure CAPA are in order and update supplier, contractor, and sub-contractor approvals.
• Develop QA processes and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor approved vendors and report deviations in the Supplier Quality System.

Job description

Assist the Reporting Manager to prepare the annual audit plan.

To prepare the checklist which includes safety aspects of the respective areas assigned by the Reporting Manager and get it approved by the Compliance Monitoring Manager.

To carry out scheduled audits as per annual audit plan as directed by reporting officer.

To ensure that all non-conformances are closed on scheduled dates and evidence is collected for the respective NCs.

To brief the auditees along with his/ her HODs the NCs observed and its implications.

To ensure CAPA are in order.

Ensure that lists related to suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors' approval process are up to date.

Develop quality assurance and lead continuous improvement efforts

Monitoring evaluation of approved vendors, update Compliance Monitoring Manager about any deviation in the Supplier quality System.

To function as per the instruction given by Compliance Monitoring Manager/ Reporting Manager from time to time.
