Senior Structural Engineer
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Senior Structural Engineer to join our expanding team in Mumbai. Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion, ensuring project needs and requirements set by senior leadership are met.
- Analyse and design various superstructures and foundations, and design steel and concrete buildings.
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide creative solutions while respecting project timelines and budgets.
- Produce calculations, models, reports, and presentations to an excellent standard, on time and within budget.
- Share your work for review by senior colleagues and conduct quality assurance on the work of others.
- Present designs at internal workshops and chair external meetings with clients when required.
- Lead teams by making timely decisions and corrective actions, fostering an atmosphere that delivers excellent work.
- Collaborate with external clients and engage with other internal discipline designers to harness opportunities.
- Inform senior colleagues of design decisions to ensure company and client objectives are achieved.
- Mentor and assist graduates and less experienced engineers, supporting continuous professional development.
- Work closely with technicians on CAD and Revit drawings.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (mandatory).
- 6–10 years of relevant experience, predominately on projects based in India.
- Extensive experience in building structures design, with a strong preference for high‑rise projects.
- Proven experience leading structural engineering efforts on large‑scale or major projects.
- Hands‑on experience analysing and designing RCC and structural steel structures using STAAD, ETABS, SAP, SAFE, and ROBOT, with working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident, proactive, and solution‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
