You will perform design and analysis using STAAD Pro, develop calculations, and review drawings. Candidates should have a BE/BTech in Civil/Mechanical, strong codes knowledge, and familiarity

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong experience in Steel Structural Design.
• Hands-on STAAD Pro.
• Knowledge of IBC, AISC, ASCE, EN & IS codes.
• Power Plant/Oil & Gas project experience.
• Knowledge of FEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform steel structural design and analysis using STAAD Pro.
• Develop and review detailed engineering calculations.
• Perform Bolted & Welded Connection Calculations.
• Review and approve structural engineering drawings.
• Perform Foundation Load Calculations.
• Coordinate with Modeling, Project Engineering and Sourcing teams.
• Handle supplier/vendor coordination and technical reviews.
• Provide technical support during project execution.
• Prepare detailed calculation reports and documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Hiring | Structural Design Engineer Steel Structures

Locations: Coimbatore | Bengaluru | Mysore
Experience: 3–8 Years
Work Mode: Hybrid

We are looking for Structural Design Engineers with strong experience in Steel Structural Design, preferably from the Power Plant / Oil & Gas domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform steel structural design and analysis using STAAD Pro
• Develop and review detailed engineering calculations
• Perform Bolted & Welded Connection Calculations
• Review and approve structural engineering drawings
• Perform Foundation Load Calculations
• Work on Power Train Arrangement & Fixations for turbines, generators, equipment, enclosures and inlet/outlet systems
• Coordinate with Modeling, Project Engineering and Sourcing teams
• Handle supplier/vendor coordination and technical reviews
• Provide technical support during project execution
• Prepare detailed calculation reports and documentation
• Mentor and guide junior engineers

Required Skills:

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
