Job summary

PHENSA in India (Ernakulam, Kerala) is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to prepare, detail, and review structural drawings for offshore, marine, and oil & gas projects. You will guide junior designers and ensure compliance with international standards using AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in structural design, strong knowledge of class rules, and proficiency in AutoCAD; 3D CAD modelling is an advantage.

• Expertise in steel and aluminum structures, including detailing.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Structural Designer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, detailing, and reviewing structural drawings for a variety of projects, while guiding junior designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, detail, and review structural drawings using AutoCAD
• Provide guidance to junior designers in design and drafting tasks
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil & gas structures
• Independently manages assigned tasks, prioritize deliverables, and ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• Diploma/B-Tech in Mechanical/Structural Engineering.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in structural design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced drafting techniques.
