Job summary

Nagarro is seeking a DevOps Engineer in India to accelerate CI/CD, container orchestration, and monitoring across hybrid environments. You will contribute to scalable infrastructure, automation, and robust deployment practices in a fast-growing digital product engineering setting.

You will work with Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, and observability tools to deliver reliable services. Excellent collaboration with Dev, QA, Ops, and Security is expected.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENT:

• We are seeking devops engineer strong experience in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, GitLab.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments (AWS + On-Prem).
• Proficiency in monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, ELK/Loki.
• Good understanding of infrastructure management, capacity planning, and autoscaling.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Experience with centralized logging and troubleshooting using ELK/Fluentd.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL administration and database performance tuning.
• Knowledge of secrets management tools (Vault, Kubernetes Secrets).
• Exposure to security tools (SonarQube, Trivy) and vulnerability management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• Scripting knowledge in Bash/Python.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools like Argo CD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform RCA.
• Excellent collaboration skills across Dev, QA, Ops, and Security teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the clients needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs
• Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
