Job summary

Infosys is looking for seasoned engineers to work within its consulting team in Bengaluru. You will diagnose customer issues, design innovative solutions, and drive deployment to deliver client satisfaction.

You will own parts of proposals and provide inputs for solution design based on your expertise. You will lead configuration activities, conduct POC workshops, and prepare effort estimates in line with client budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master's degrees in engineering disciplines as listed.
• Experience with large-scale DevOps and cloud tooling is desirable.
• Ability to design solutions and mentor engineers.
• Demonstrated experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes architectures.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• A day in the life of an Infoscion: As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design.
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organizations financial guidelines.
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

Additional Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of tools such as: Red Hat AAP/AWX, Red Hat ACM, RHACS / Prisma Cloud, GitLab/Jenkins CI/CD, Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK, Tempo), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Execute intent-driven workflows, maintain automation pipelines, perform release rollouts using Inmanta frameworks.
• Own tool integrations with: ServiceNow, GitOps workflows, CNF lifecycle automation
• Lead innovation initiatives in automation, AI ops, policy-based governance, GitOps
• Drive POCs and pilots for emerging technologies relevant to Telco Cloud, NFV/CNF, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
• Partner with architecture teams to define future-state tooling roadmap aligned to the client needs.
• Mentoring and coaching capability for senior engineers
