Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer based in India to lead the design and delivery of enterprise IT asset management solutions using ServiceNow. You will drive HAM, SAM, and ITSM initiatives, architect integrations, and guide cross-functional teams across global locations.

You will translate business needs into scalable technical designs, maintain platform standards, and ensure quality across implementations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, engineering, implementation, or technical consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, ITSM, and integrations.
• Experience designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations across enterprise environments.
• Solid knowledge of ITAM, HAM, SAM, and ITSM modules; ITOM/CSM experience is a plus.

• Provide senior technical expertise across ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, SAM, and ITSM.
• Lead design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across global locations.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer, (CMDB, HAM, ITAM) based in India.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow professional to lead the design and delivery of enterprise IT asset management solutions across global environments. You will bring deep expertise in ITAM, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, ITSM, and ServiceNow integrations. The role combines hands-on engineering with solution design, technical leadership, and close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring alignment with platform standards and best practices. Your work will contribute directly to the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of global ServiceNow implementations. This role is well suited to a technically strong professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and operating in a collaborative, international delivery environment.

Accountabilities:

• Provide senior technical expertise across ServiceNow ITAM, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Work with ServiceNow teams and stakeholders to design and implement solutions across global locations and business environments.
• Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow integrations with internal and external systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into standardized, scalable, and maintainable ServiceNow technical solutions.
• Develop and implement technical solutions across the ServiceNow platform while ensuring alignment with established architecture and development standards.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications according to business requirements and agreed solution designs.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripts and configurations, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Jelly, and AngularJS components.
• Design and execute component integration testing to validate functionality, system interactions, and overall solution quality.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective resolutions across the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, architects, and delivery teams, to ensure successful project execution.
• Participate in solution and design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions, providing recommendations and guidance.
• Promote adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, ITIL principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical recommendations that improve the scalability, reliability, maintainability, and effectiveness of ServiceNow solutions.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in ServiceNow development, engineering, implementation, or technical consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, ITSM, and integrations.
• Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations across enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow Asset Management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of ITAM, HAM, SAM, and ITSM modules, with additional experience in areas such as ITOM or CSM considered valuable.
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and their application within enterprise service management environments.
• ServiceNow SPM certification is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience developing, configuring, customizing, and testing ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong scripting experience with ServiceNow technologies, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Jelly Scripting, and AngularJS.
• Experience developing technical solutions and conducting integration and component-level testing.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex platform and integration issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business audiences.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working in a global delivery environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders and teams.
