You will work with DB2/400, DDS and subfiles, analyze performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable solutions. Willingness to support extended shifts when required is expected.

Qualifications

• 7–11 years of AS400 development and support experience.
• Experience with MAPICS / Infor XA modules and RPG-based technologies.
• Strong knowledge of DB2/400, DDS, physical/logical files, and subfiles.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
• Work on MAPICS / Infor XA modules and implement custom enhancements.
• Analyze existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and identify performance improvements.
• Provide production support within defined SLAs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role involves working with MAPICS / Infor XA, RPG-based programming, database technologies, and enterprise application enhancements. The candidate should be capable of working independently, collaborating with end users, and supporting extended shifts when required.

Job Description

The position focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining AS400 applications that support business operations. The candidate will work with RPG-based technologies, DB2/400, and MAPICS Infor XA modules to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, analyzing system performance, implementing integrations, and supporting testing and documentation activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, independent execution, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, Subfiles, and DB2/400.


• Work on MAPICS / Infor XA modules and implement custom enhancements.


• Analyze existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and identify performance optimization opportunities.


• Provide production support and resolve application issues within defined SLAs.


• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement system integrations.


• Perform unit and system testing and support QA activities.


• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.
