• Provides analysis to support more senior colleagues with the development and implementation of the procurement / supply chain strategy, processes and plans. Performs spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Follows procedural guidelines to perform standard purchasing activities e.g., analyzing and evaluating purchasing requests, placing orders, identifying sources, administering terms, and expediting purchase orders from valid requisitions
• Acts as a business interface for local contract owners/suppliers and/or a range of business stakeholders, providing updates and escalating issues as appropriate. Supports strategic sourcing initiatives
• Analyses supplier proposals and creates detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Handles the most straightforward contractual agreements for specific items as needed in compliance with Company policies and procedures. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned service agreements and subcontracts to assure best quality and best value, and on-time delivery of projects.
• Maintains, monitors and generates reports on purchasing activities. Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards
• Ensures that requisitions, purchase orders, vendor bids, receipts, invoices, tracking sheets, bid tabs, etc. are all maintained in the established system(s)
