We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP ABAP RAP Developer to build enterprise-grade services and business applications using ABAP RAP, CDS, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BTP. The role focuses on modern SAP development, cloud extensibility, integration, and building scalable solutions while following Clean Core principles.
The role involves designing and developing OData V2/V4 services using the ABAP RAP framework to connect SAP S/4HANA backends with modern frontend applications. The candidate will model transactional business objects using Behavior Definitions and Behavior Implementations, including CRUD operations, actions, and determinations.
The position requires strong experience in ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) for complex data modeling, including annotations supporting UI, search, and analytical capabilities for Fiori Elements applications. The candidate will also apply ABAP Cloud principles for side-by-side and developer extensibility on the SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
The role includes implementing business events and asynchronous communication patterns, consuming external APIs, and supporting hybrid workflows across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
The ideal candidate should have 7–11 years of SAP development experience with strong hands‑on expertise in HANA ABAP, CDS, and RAP. Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite alongside RAP is particularly valuable for developing and integrating modern SAP solutions across hybrid landscapes.
