Capgemini Bengaluru is seeking skilled SAP ABAP RAP consultants and senior consultants with strong S/4HANA development experience. You will deliver end-to-end SAP implementations and build scalable ABAP applications using RAP, CDS views, and OData services.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and enhance applications using ABAP RAP (Managed/Unmanaged scenarios).
• Develop and maintain CDS views, behavior definitions, and service bindings.
• Build and expose OData services (V2/V4).
• Develop HANA-optimized code using code pushdown techniques.
• Work with APIs, enhancements, and extensibility frameworks.
• Build solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementations (requirements, testing, UAT, go-live).
• Work with enhancements (BAdIs, exits).
• Integrate SAP with internal and external systems via APIs/services.
• Support UI integration with Fiori/UI5 or Fiori Elements.

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled SAP ABAP RAP Consultants and Senior Consultants with strong experience in S/4HANA development and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). The ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience in delivering end-to-end SAP implementations and building scalable applications using modern ABAP technologies like CDS and OData services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance applications using ABAP RAP (Managed/Unmanaged scenarios)
• Develop and maintain CDS views, behavior definitions, and service bindings
• Build and expose OData services (V2/V4)
• Develop HANA-optimized code using code pushdown techniques
• Work with APIs, enhancements, and extensibility frameworks
• Build solutions aligned with Clean Core principles
• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementations, including:
• Requirement analysis
• Unit testing and integration testing
• UAT and go-live support
• Work with enhancements (BAdIs, user exits)
• Integrate SAP with internal and external systems via APIs/services
• Support UI integration with Fiori/UI5 or Fiori Elements

Quality & Documentation

• Follow coding standards and ensure ATC compliance
• Perform unit testing and debugging
• Prepare technical design documents and functional specs

• Strong experience in ABAP (OO ABAP mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with:
• RAP (ABAP RESTful Programming Model)
• CDS Views (associations, annotations)
• OData services
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA development
• Experience in:
• Enhancements (BAdIs, exits)
• Reports, interfaces, forms (RICEF objects)
• Debugging and performance tuning
• Exposure to AMDP / HANA concepts (preferred)
• At least 1–3 end-to-end SAP implementations
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments
