Job summary

We at Mployee.me in India are hiring an experienced SAP BTP ABAP Developer to build and modernize applications on SAP Business Technology Platform, integrating with our ECC landscape. The role emphasizes RAP on the ABAP Environment, CDS views, and OData services, and collaboration with SAP Fiori, Build Process Automation, Build Apps, and Build Work Zone.

• Strong hands-on in SAP BTP RAP and ABAP development.

• Experience developing SAP Fiori applications.

• Configure and integrate applications with SAP Build Work Zone / SAP Task Center for user access and approval activities.
• Support integration between SAP BTP applications and SAP ECC.
• Understand ECC ABAP programs, function modules, BAPIs/RFCs, tables, enhancements, and interfaces.
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, data, and integration issues across BTP and ECC.
• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions for modernization.
• Work closely with functional teams, SAP developers, integration teams, and enterprise architects.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP / ABAP Developer to build and modernize applications and workflows on SAP Business Technology Platform, while integrating with our existing SAP ECC landscape. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SAP ECC and traditional ABAP, and strong hands‑on experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) on the SAP BTP ABAP Environment, which is a key requirement for this role. You will also work with SAP Fiori, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Apps, and SAP Build Work Zone, and integrate with ECC using OData/REST, Cloud Connector, and destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications and services using SAP BTP ABAP Environment and RAP.
• Build RAP business objects, CDS views, behavior definitions/implementations, actions, validations, and OData services.
• Design solutions where business rules and transactional logic are implemented within the RAP/business layer.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori applications integrated with RAP/OData services.
• Build workflow and approval processes using SAP Build Process Automation.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have

• Strong hands‑on in SAP BTP RAP and SAP ABAP development experience.
• Good understanding of SAP ECC architecture and traditional ABAP development .
• Strong hands‑on experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) . This is a key requirement.
