Job summary

HypTechie is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in HANA ABAP development, CDS Views, AMDP, and the RAP framework. The role focuses on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP extension solutions following Clean Core principles and ABAP Cloud standards.

You will design and implement RAP-based SAP applications, expose OData V4 services for Fiori, and collaborate with architects, UI developers, and functional consultants to deliver high-performance ABAP solutions on SAP HANA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expert in RAP with RESTful ABAP Programming Model.
• Strong CDS Views and data modeling skills.
• Experience with AMDP and SAP HANA development.
• OData V4 services and REST APIs exposure.
• Proficiency in ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Knowledge of S/4HANA extensibility and BTP ABAP Environment.
• Understanding of ABAP Cloud development standards and Clean Core principles.
• Experience with RAP authorization concepts and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP applications using RAP Managed and Unmanaged scenarios.
• Develop Business Objects, Behavior Definitions, Behavior Implementations, and Service Bindings.
• Create and optimize CDS Views, associations, compositions, annotations, and value helps.
• Develop and expose OData V4 services for SAP Fiori applications.
• Implement validations, determinations, actions, authorizations, and draft-enabled applications.
• Build SAP S/4HANA extensions and solutions using the SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
• Develop custom entities and implement REST API integrations.
• Optimize application performance on SAP HANA.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and UI developers.
• Perform code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, deployment support, and production support.
