Student Data and Governance (SDG) is a department within the University’s Registry function charged with a broad range of accountabilities, including ensuring the quality, use and accessibility of student data within the University for operational, management information and regulatory purposes, as well as supporting the management of the University’s new Student Record System, Banner.
Individual officers, although required to assist across the full remit of the department during busy times, will be assigned a particular area of focus. In the interest of maintaining currency and best practice the area of focus may alternate between officers as determined by the Director. The four focus areas are listed below, and an interest may be declared in one or more of these focus areas as part of the application.

A degree in a relevant subject with a high numerical/statistical analysis component, or equivalent, or significant relevant work-based experience

Excellent IT skills and experience working with databases and reporting tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI
