Job summary

Zalaris Deutschland GmbH in Chennai is seeking a seasoned Payroll Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for multiple EU/EMEA countries. The role requires hands-on SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors expertise, data integrity, and strong stakeholder communication within a global team.

Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, preparing payroll inputs, generating reports, and ensuring compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Registration and maintenance of employee data (e.g., new hires, changes, terminations, tax information, pension control)
• Maintenance of organizational structure
• Absence /attendance registration and handling
• Registration of payroll data input (e.g., deductions, benefits, bonuses, new salaries)
• Preparation and delivery of reports
• Handling service requests through C4C system and inquiries by phone
• Producing the contracts and other employment related documentation Maintaining physical and / or electronical archive
• To solve problems and be a case manager for complex multi functional issues.
• Train and guide other team members.
• Performing any additional tasks, linked to the primary scope of the position.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 6-8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations, with significant exposure to multiple EMEA and EU countries.
• Hands-on, in-depth experience with SAP Payroll (SAP HCM) and SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central / Employee Central Payroll).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; fluent in English (additional EU languages an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools. .
