Job summary

NIIT is recruiting a Senior Sourcing Specialist to drive global training sourcing and supplier management from Gurugram. You will oversee end-to-end procurement, negotiations, and contract activities, coordinating with Finance, Legal, and cross-functional teams.

You will manage RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, optimize costs, and ensure quality and timely delivery across regions. The role requires 6+ years of experience and strong stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years total experience with at least 4 years in sourcing/procurement.
• Experience in international/global sourcing and supplier management.
• Experience in Learning & Development / Training industry is advantageous.
• Strong negotiations, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, benchmarking, and performance management.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and meet SLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

NIIT is looking for an experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to support a global client project and manage end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, commercial negotiations, and training administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own customer training requests and identify the best training suppliers globally across Europe, USA, APAC, and other international markets.
• Manage the complete sourcing and procurement cycle, including supplier identification, negotiation, contracting, delivery, and quality management.
• Drive cost savings, supplier rationalization, and commercial optimization.
• Source suppliers for Face-to-Face, Virtual, and E-learning training requirements.
• Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, and category analysis to identify competitive sourcing opportunities.
• Manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes for global customers.
• Negotiate with training partners to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality, pricing, and service delivery against customer requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global training suppliers and partners.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, Finance, Legal, Vendor Management, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage training administration through Learning Management Systems (LMS) within agreed SLAs.
• Coordinate training logistics including venue finalization, training room booking, learner enrollment, trainer coordination, and roster management.
• Manage post-training activities including attendance, learner feedback, and updates in the LMS.
• Prepare and maintain bid summaries, sourcing documentation, customer requests, and supplier records.
• Conduct periodic governance/review calls with training partners and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams for Purchase Orders, contracts, and commercial documentation.
• Ensure timely execution of customer requests while maintaining quality, cost, and service-level expectations.
• Work across different time zones, geographies, and languages to support global customers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of overall experience, with at least 4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, commercial management, or service/commodity sourcing.
• Experience in international/global sourcing and supplier management.
• Experience working with suppliers in the Learning & Development / Training industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong experience in commercial negotiations, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, quality assessment, benchmarking, and performance management.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests/work queues and deliver within defined SLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and globally distributed environment.
• Comfortable working with different international time zones.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate / Post Graduate qualification.
• MBA / B.Tech preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, CRM tools, and other sourcing/procurement platforms.
