We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Lead to spearhead end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management across complex, high-value client portfolios. In this role, you will drive sourcing strategy, lead supplier negotiations, manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable outcomes across Direct and Indirect spend categories. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your domain, mentor and develop junior talent, and be a trusted advisor to client category managers.
This is your opportunity to operate at the forefront of procurement consulting — owning category strategy, driving supplier excellence, and shaping the future of global supply chains.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant sourcing and procurement experience. Specialisation in at least one spend category — such as IT (Hardware/Software), MRO, CAPEX, Facilities, Real Estate, Marketing, or Logistics. Strong project management skills — ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Analytical aptitude and business acumen with a clear understanding of how markets work. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders globally. Effective written and verbal communication; confident in making persuasive arguments and influencing stakeholders and suppliers across geographies. Prior experience in a client-facing role; strong attention to detail and a drive towards increasing efficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to gather and analyse data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for process improvement. Sound knowledge of procurement and familiarity with sourcing tools and technologies — e-sourcing platforms, supplier management systems, and contract management software. Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance and risk management. Prior experience in tactical and strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and purchasing processes; SME in at least one category (Direct/Indirect). Experience in category management — spend analysis, opportunity identification, and pipeline building. Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite — Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; experience in ERP/P2P tools. Familiarity with Dashboard creation and Governance meeting presentations; Power BI and Power Query experience is an added advantage. Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance standards, and market trends. Team player with high motivation, positive can-do attitude, flexibility, and adaptability.
Ability to lead and develop a team; provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts — People Management experience (team of 10 or more) is an advantage. Agile, flexible mindset with a strong inclination to learn and adapt. Change management skills; effective influencer capable of driving alignment across cross-functional teams. Business acumen with deep interest in category dynamics, supplier markets, and cost drivers.
You may be a strong fit if you bring deep category expertise, thrive in senior client-facing environments, and naturally lead from the front. You are equally comfortable setting strategic direction and executing on the ground — a confident negotiator, a data-driven decision maker, and someone who invests in the growth of the people around you.
At GEP, you will lead high-impact procurement and supply chain engagements for some of the world's leading enterprises. You will own category strategies, drive supplier transformations, and influence sourcing decisions at the highest levels — supported by world-class tools, experienced leaders, and a clear path to grow into senior consulting roles.
