Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in India is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst to gather, analyze, and interpret procurement data to support strategic sourcing decisions. You will manage supplier quoting processes, ensure data accuracy, and optimize cost savings and procurement efficiency.

You will collaborate with sourcing, finance and operations to drive data-driven decisions, monitor supplier performance, and conduct market research to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Ability to support USA time zone and work in a virtual team environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with good command of English language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Analyze spend data and generate reports to track sourcing performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support Sourcing Manager in NWC initiatives.
• Analyzing market commodity prices and distributing data weekly.
• Support e‑Auctions and other competitive bidding processes to drive cost reductions.
• Pursue inflation claw backs and other cost recovery initiatives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and trends.
• Understand and document business processes, connecting actions to outcomes.
• Assists with both regular and ad hoc reporting and data analyses.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned or required by the manager.

Job Summary

The Global Sourcing Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting procurement and supply chain data to support strategic sourcing decisions.
