Job summary

Ingersoll-Rand plc is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst in India to gather, analyze, and interpret procurement data to support strategic sourcing decisions. You will manage supplier quoting processes, ensure data accuracy, and optimize supplier performance, cost savings, and procurement efficiency.

You will collaborate with sourcing, finance, and operations teams to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance overall procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Analyze spend data and generate reports to track sourcing performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support Sourcing Manager in NWC initiatives.
• Analyze market commodity prices and distribute data weekly.
• Support e‑Auctions and competitive bidding processes to drive cost reductions.
• Pursue inflation claw backs and other cost recovery initiatives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and trends.
• Understand and document business processes, connecting actions to outcomes.
• Assist with regular and ad hoc reporting and data analyses.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned or required by the manager.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Ability to support the USA time zone and work well in a virtual team environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with good command of English language.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of e‑Auction platforms and processes.
• Knowledge of IQMS and PowerBi.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
• Demonstrate a bias for action.
• Leads with boldness and humility.
