Job summary

Merkle in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Solution Architect to design and govern regional solution architectures, ensuring alignment with global standards and compliance. You will oversee architects and delivery, shepherding solutions through governance for internal and external clients.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across APAC, document workflows, and ensure security standards are integrated. This hybrid role is based in Bengaluru with options across Pune and Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years in solution architecture, engineering and marketing technology.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Certifications in solution architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP) are a strong plus.
• Familiar with digital marketing platforms, adtech, martech is a good plus.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM-based workflows is a strong plus.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to create solution architectures for systems and platforms ensuring all relevant options are explored for time, cost and compliance to the company’s standards, policies and practices whilst meeting the business’ requirements. The role will oversee the work of other architects and delivery of the solution for clients both internal and external, shepherding it through the relevant governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with senior stakeholders on developing regional solution architecture frameworks
• Review global, regional infrastructure availability, product ecosystem and develop a regional solution architecture standard forming regional standards in full alignment with global and industry standards.
• Lead the system and architecture documentation, required workflows, visualization in a standardized set of documents that can be disseminated, explained and used by technical teams across APAC
• Ensuring global security standards are incorporated into principles for solution architecture within the standard infrastructure options within dentsu
• Recording and tracking key design decisions and validating these in the context of the requirements.
• Ensure continuous updates, changes, new methods and technical changes are incorporated, documented.
• Communicating with stakeholders across the region, running workshops, training sessions as needed
• Adopting a holistic approach to solution design to maximize best use of available technologies

Requirements

• 12-15 years in solution architecture, engineering and marketing technology
• Strong, hands‑on working experience with at least 2 of the 3 infrastructure in AZURE, AWS, GCP
• Having certifications in solution architecture with AZURE, AWS, GCP in a strong plus
• Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, adtech, martech is a good plus
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI/LLM-based workflows is a strong plus
• Strong verbal and written communication with experience in documenting technical and system workflows, diagrams, visualization
• Strong and collaborative mindset working with technical and non technical stakeholders
