Job summary

Merkle in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to create and govern regional solution architectures across APAC. You will oversee architecture work, guide delivery for internal and external clients, and ensure alignment with global standards and security requirements.

The role requires deep expertise in multiple cloud platforms, strong communication skills, and a strategic, collaborative mindset with stakeholders. This is a hybrid, permanent position based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years in solution architecture, engineering and marketing technology.
• Hands-on with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infra (2 of 3).
• Certifications in cloud architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP) are a strong plus.
• Experience with digital marketing platforms, adtech or martech is a plus.
• GenAI/LLM workflows experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document workflows and diagrams.
• Collaborative mindset with stakeholders.

The purpose of this role is to create solution architectures for systems and platforms ensuring all relevant options are explored for time, cost and compliance to the company’s standards, policies and practices whilst meeting the business’ requirements. The role will oversee the work of other architects and delivery of the solution for clients both internal and external, shepherding it through the relevant governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with senior stakeholders on developing regional solution architecture frameworks
• Review global, regional infrastructure availability, product ecosystem and develop a regional solution architecture standard forming regional standards in full alignment with global and industry standards.
• Lead the system and architecture documentation, required workflows, visualization in a standardized set of documents that can be disseminated, explained and used by technical teams across APAC
• Ensuring global security standards are incorporated into principles for solution architecture within the standard infrastructure options within dentsu
• Recording and tracking key design decisions and validating these in the context of the requirements.
• Ensure continuous updates, changes, new methods and technical changes are incorporated, documented.
• Communicating with stakeholders across the region, running workshops, training sessions as needed
• Adopting a holistic approach to solution design to maximize best use of available technologies

Requirements

• 12-15 years in solution architecture, engineering and marketing technology
• Strong, hands-on working experience with at least 2 of the 3 infrastructure in AZURE, AWS, GCP
• Having certifications in solution architecture with AZURE, AWS, GCP in a strong plus
• Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, adtech, martech is a good plus
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM-based workflows is a strong plus
• Strong verbal and written communication with experience in documenting technical and system workflows, diagrams, visualization
• Strong and collaborative mindset working with technical and non technical stakeholders
