Job summary

Ibexlabs is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect focused on AI-enabled AWS architectures and generative AI, to guide enterprise customers from discovery to production-ready platforms. You will collaborate with AWS account teams and customer stakeholders to scope engagements and deliver proofs of value.

You will mentor delivery teams, design scalable AI workloads on Bedrock and SageMaker, and contribute reusable architectures and playbooks to scale the practice.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in solutions architecture, cloud engineering, or a related technical role.
• Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AI/ML or generative AI solutions on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Experience working within an AWS Partner or systems integrator environment and supporting AWS co-sell motions.
• Strong working knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework across security, reliability, cost, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting architecture and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for customer engagements involving AI/ML and generative AI workloads on AWS, from discovery through delivery.
• Design and review AWS Well‑Architected solutions spanning compute, data, security, and AI/ML services, including Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Partner with AWS account teams and specialist Solutions Architects to scope opportunities, run technical validations, and support proposals and SOWs.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture reviews with customer stakeholders; translate business goals into concrete AWS designs.
• Use AI‑assisted development (“vibe coding”) tools such as Claude Code to rapidly build proofs of value and working prototypes.
• Mentor solutions engineers and delivery teams on AI architecture patterns, cost optimization, and AWS best practices.
• Track the evolving AWS AI/ML and generative AI service landscape and evaluate new services for customer applicability.
• Contribute reusable reference architectures, accelerators, and playbooks to scale the practice.

As a Senior Solutions Architect — AI Solutions at Ibexlabs, you will design and deliver AI-enabled AWS architectures and generative AI solutions for enterprise customers. Requirements

Required

• 8–10 years of experience in solutions architecture, cloud engineering, or a related technical role, with significant hands‑on AWS experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AI/ML or generative AI solutions on AWS (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Experience working within an AWS Partner or systems integrator environment and supporting AWS co‑sell motions.
• Strong working knowledge of the AWS Well‑Architected Framework across security, reliability, cost, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting architecture and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain significant overlap with US time zones for collaboration with US‑based partners and customers.
• Hands‑on comfort with AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to prototype quickly and demonstrate customer value.

Preferred

• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect – Professional or Machine Learning Specialty.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
• Background in FinOps, managed services, or cloud security.
• Prior experience in pre‑sales or other customer‑facing technical roles.
