About the Role

Lead the design and implementation of a next-generation Data Fusion Platform that unifies diverse data sources and integrates Generative and Agentic AI. Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and production readiness across large-scale distributed systems.

Role

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to lead architecture and implementation of a Data Fusion Platform that integrates massive-scale data engineering with Generative and Agentic AI. The role focuses on end-to-end distributed system design, production-readiness, performance, security, and integration of AI-driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership for end-to-end distributed systems ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scaling.
• Design low-latency data integration and streaming pipelines (real-time and batch).
• Implement high-performance search, indexing, and retrieval layers for multi-dimensional queries.
• Integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks into the data lifecycle (autonomous data cleaning, metadata generation, insight discovery).
• Perform system performance tuning from JVM and application level to OS/kernel and database query optimization.
• Ensure security and compliance including encryption, RBAC, and privacy-preserving techniques.
• Lead transitions from POC to production, including monitoring, CI/CD, and SRE practices for large-volume systems.

Technical Requirements

Core Engineering

• Expert-level proficiency in Java / J2EE, deep understanding of the Java memory model and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (Scala/Python/Java) for batch transformations and Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, KStreams) for streaming.
• Advanced knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL stores; expert-level implementation of Elasticsearch or Solr for search and retrieval.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills, shell scripting, and system performance monitoring.

Emerging AI & Modern Paradigms

• Practical understanding of GenAI, LLMs, and RAG architectures including fine-tuning strategies.
• Experience designing agentic/ autonomous agents that interact with data environments to perform tasks.
• Familiarity with “Vibe Coding” (intent-based development and AI-augmented coding environments) to accelerate development.

Systems Design

• Experience managing very large volumes of data (petabyte-scale).
• Strong background in reliability engineering (circuit breakers, backpressure, retries) and distributed systems patterns (CAP theorem, consensus, sharding).

Experience

• 12 to 20 years of relevant experience in large-scale data engineering, distributed system architecture, and AI-enabled platform development.
