Job summary

Optum in Hyderabad, India, seeks a senior cloud-native architect to lead architecture, design and development of scalable healthcare platforms using Azure, Java, Spring Boot, React JS, Snowflake and DBT.

You will mentor teams, drive security, compliance and DevSecOps, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver robust data solutions on modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering and application development.
• Full-time graduation degree completed.

Lead the architecture, design, and development of modern cloud-native applications and data platforms leveraging Azure, Java, Spring Boot, React JS, Snowflake, and DBT. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, solution design, and governance responsibilities to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare technology solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), architecture reviews, and technical roadmaps
• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React JS, and Azure cloud services
• Build and integrate modern data solutions leveraging Snowflake, DBT, and semantic layer architectures
• Remain highly hands-on, contributing to coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, driving engineering excellence, development standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
• Drive application security, vulnerability remediation, dependency management, and platform risk mitigation efforts
• Partner with Security, Compliance, Audit, and Risk teams to ensure adherence to enterprise policies, regulatory requirements, and healthcare industry standards
• Establish CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and operational excellence practices across the platform

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering and application development
• Must have fulltime graduation degree
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native application architectures
• Experience delivering data-driven solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and semantic data models
• Experience leading technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and development teams
• Solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and React JS
• Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, API integrations, and modern engineering patterns
• Solid knowledge of secure software development, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to AI/ML-powered applications and modern data platforms
• Healthcare domain expertise, including experience with regulated data environments and compliance requirements
