Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Pune, India seeks an experienced software leader to design, develop, and deploy scalable healthcare software systems. You will mentor engineers, review code, and drive quality across CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern AI-enabled solutions.

Required 8+ years in ORMB Healthcare software, strong Java skills, cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and API design expertise. The role emphasizes collaboration with product teams and adherence to high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of ORMB Healthcare software development experience.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in leveraging AI/ML in software solutioning.
• Sound knowledge on Latest AI Capabilities - RAG , Agentic Development , Gen AI
• Understanding on Codex, Claude Code , VS Code etc
• Sound knowledge of Java
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and API design (REST, GraphQL)

Primary Responsibilities:
