Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Gurugram is seeking a senior Java Engineer to lead the design, development and maintenance of scalable Java-based applications. You will provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product managers, architects and stakeholders to define technical solutions.

Responsibilities include ensuring code quality through reviews and testing, driving performance, security and reliability improvements, and contributing to architecture decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience with strong Java, Spring Boot, Microservices & Kafka.
• Experience leading engineering teams or serving in a technical lead role.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented design, APIs, databases, and cloud-based systems.
• Proven excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java-based applications

  Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation
