Job summary

Psiog, a Chennai-based software services specialist, seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to deliver end-to-end features across React and C# within a Scrum team. The role requires production-grade capability on both layers and ownership from data model to UI.

You will define API contracts, ensure code quality, and contribute to cross-layer architecture while collaborating with global clients and enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering with production experience in React and C#.
• Strong TypeScript typing across React components and service interfaces.
• Experience with .NET 6/8, dependency injection, and EF Core or Dapper.
• REST API design on both sides and clean integration with React.
• Proficient SQL skills including schema design, joins, and query optimisation.
• Testing discipline across frontend and backend (unit/integration tests).
• Experience working in Scrum teams with sprint delivery accountability.
• Azure cloud experience (App Service, Insights, deployment pipelines).

Responsibilities

• Deliver complete vertical slices from data model to React UI.
• Build React UIs with component design, state management, API integration, performance optimisation, and accessibility.
• Build C# backend services and REST APIs with service layers and data access patterns.
• Define API contracts collaboratively with the team before implementation.
• Write comprehensive tests for frontend and backend; coverage is essential.
• Contribute to architecture and design with a cross-layer perspective.
• Review code across the stack and provide meaningful feedback on React and C# PRs.

The Senior Software Engineer -Full Stack is accountable for end-to-end feature delivery across React and C#within a scrum team. The role demands production-level competence on bothlayers - not specialisation in one with surface-level exposure to the other.The SSE Full Stack owns vertical slices from data model to UI, defines APIcontracts, and maintains code quality across the full stack without creatinginter-layer hand-off dependencies.

Requirements

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver completevertical slices own a feature from datamodel to React UI
• Build React UIs component design, state management, API integration,performance optimisation, and accessibility basics
• Build C# backendservices REST APIs, service layers, dataaccess patterns, and business logic - production-grade from the start
• Define API contractscollaboratively agree the shape ofrequests and responses with the team before implementation begins
• Write comprehensivetests frontend and backend- coverage isnot optional
• Participate inarchitecture and design contributecross-layer perspective that pure specialists cannot offer
• Review code across thestack provide meaningful feedback onboth React and C# PRs
• Identify and resolveintegration issues debug across the fullstack without needing another engineer to localise the problem

MUST-HAVESKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of softwareengineering with demonstrable production experience in both React and C#
• TypeScript proficiency -strong typing across React components and service interfaces
• C# and .NET 6/8 - servicelayer architecture, dependency injection, async/await, Entity Framework Core orDapper
• REST API design on bothsides - building APIs in .NET and consuming them in React cleanly
• SQL fundamentals - schemadesign, joins, query optimisation, understanding of ORM-generated queries
• Testing discipline on bothlayers - component tests in Jest, API, Unit testing and integration tests
• Track record of working inactive scrum teams with sprint delivery accountability
• Azure cloud experience -App Service, Application Insights, deployment pipelines
