Job summary

Unisys Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design and build cloud-native Java and Python applications, REST APIs, and data pipelines on AWS. You will develop and maintain microservices, implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch search capabilities, and deploy with Docker/Kubernetes on EKS.

Collaboration across teams, code reviews, and production support are part of the role. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience, a BA/BS degree, and strong knowledge of AWS services,

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Java and Python
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices
• Experience with PySpark and AWS Glue for data processing
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and SSM
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, including Bool Queries, document indexing/upserts, and Kibana
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices
• Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
