Job summary

Tekion in Bengaluru, India, is hiring a senior software engineer to lead development of complex features and influence architecture across its cloud-native platforms. You will mentor engineers, drive quality, performance, and production-readiness while shaping technical strategy.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of software engineering experience, strong skills in Java/Python/JavaScript/C++, and hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP/Azure.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Expertise in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native services, and performance optimization.
• Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving, mentorship, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade software and improving team effectiveness.

• Leads feature development from concept to deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Conducts code reviews, sets engineering standards, and drives adoption of best practices across the team.
• Identifies bottlenecks and proactively resolves technical challenges in production and development environments.
