Job summary

Tekion Corp in Bengaluru seeks a senior engineering leader to provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple engineering teams. You will oversee technical execution, cross-functional collaboration, and team development to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with Tekion’s business objectives.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience, deep cloud and distributed systems expertise, and strong communication and strategic skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 4+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Proven success in managing multiple engineering teams and delivering large-scale software solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and development operations.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple engineering teams through the development lifecycle - from design through deployment - ensuring delivery of high-impact products and services.
• Collaborates with product, design, architecture, and operations leaders to define technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Oversees team structure, resource planning, hiring, and talent development across functional areas.
• Drives technical excellence by promoting engineering best practices, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
• Leads organizational transformation efforts related to scalability, automation, and platform modernization.
• Coaches engineering managers and senior engineers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development support.
