Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in Noida, India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to design and execute comprehensive testing across UI and APIs, including automated Playwright tests in TypeScript and Java-based API automation.

You will build and maintain tests and frameworks, leverage AI-assisted tooling for efficient test development, perform load tests with JMeter, and collaborate with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong experience with Test Planning, Strategy, and Execution.
• Hands-on with Playwright automation using TypeScript and Java.
• Experience with REST API testing and API automation (REST Assured).
• Familiar with TestNG, Maven, and CI/CD (Jenkins).
