Collaborating with Development, Product, Support, and Sales Engineering teams, we focus on delivering secure, high-quality products. We enhance product security features and ensure comprehensive protection for customers while supporting the business in achieving its goals effectively.

Akamai develops advanced software security solutions deployed in data centers, AWS, Azure, and the Akamai Connect Cloud. We seek a DevOps team proficient in modern techniques and tools. Are you passionate about resolving technical issues, automating processes, and collaborating with teams to impact products used by billions globally?

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and looking after multi-cloud (Azure, Linode) platforms based on kubernetes (self-hosted or cloud-native)
• Automating and managing infrastructure as a code (IaaC) for multitude of projects
• Debugging development and production issues on a daily basis
• Optimizing the processes and existing automation
• Researching and implementing solutions to improve overall security of the platforms
• Implementing/patching systems to meet the compliance requirements
• Communicating your implementation within the team and across other groups across the company effectively
• Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development

To be successful in this role you will:

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Have an experience with Managed Cloud (AWS, Azure, Linode)
• Be experienced in working with Kubernetes / Helm
• Have an experience with Terraform
• Be experienced in working with Prometheus / Grafana / Alert Manager
• Have an experience with Git/GitHub
