Job summary

Sigmoid is seeking a proficient software engineer in Bengaluru to own modules end-to-end—from design and coding to deployment and monitoring. You will drive architectural decisions for scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems, while collaborating with PMs, QAs, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong design and data modeling skills, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining complex applications.
• Deep knowledge of databases (NoSQL or relational) with solid data modeling experience.
• Strong understanding of system design, OO design, and design patterns.
• Ability to design small systems/services independently.
• Experience debugging, profiling, and scaling high-performance applications.
• Experience at a product-based company.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
