Job summary

MediBuddy is seeking a Senior Backend-End developer to build highly scalable systems. You will drive architecture across subsystems, break down complex problems, and deliver robust backend services.

You will work with Node.js/Nest.js, Express, Python Django, and modern messaging stacks on Linux, focusing on performance, reliability, and clean interfaces. A strong emphasis on design patterns and TDD will be valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience in scalable systems.
• Expertise in at least one major language (Node.js or .NET) and solid OO design.
• Strong coding skills with unit tests and design patterns.
• Experience with Linux, databases, and distributed messaging.
• Ability to architect modules, manage API endpoints, and drive performance.

Job description

As a Senior Backend-End developer, you will be responsible for building highly scalable systems. You should have the ability to drive the design and architecture of multiple subsystems and the ability to break down larger/fuzzier problems into smaller ones in the scope of the product. you should be able to break down and architect complex software. You should be able to build highly scalable and reliable systems.

Responsibilities:

• You will build Robust and scalable web-based applications.
• You will need to think about platforms and reuse.
• Build abstractions and contracts with separation of concerns for a larger scope
• Drive problem-solving skills for high-level business and technical problems.
• Do high-level design with guidance, Functional modeling, breakdown of a module.
• Do incremental changes to architecture, impact analysis of the same.
• Do performance tuning and improvements in large-scale distributed systems.
• Mentor young minds and foster team spirit; break down execution into phases to bring predictability to overall execution.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to derive a capability view from features/solutions; lead execution of medium-sized projects.
• Work with broader stakeholders to track the impact of projects/features and proactively iterate to improve them.

Requirements:

• Extensive and expert programming experience in at least one general programming language (e. g., Node. Js, . NET) and tech stack to write maintainable, scalable, unit-tested code.
• Extensive experience in object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, and huge passion and ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
• Excellent coding skills - should be able to convert the design into code fluently.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development.
• Bias for action [Situational, priority].
• Advanced-level DB Concepts.
• Advanced level high level designing (System architecture, Caching, queues).
• Strong desire to solve complex and interesting real-world problems.
• Experience with full life cycle development in any programming language on a Linux platform.
• Go-getter attitude that reflects in energy and intent behind assigned tasks.
• Academic background: B. E/B. Tech from top-ranked colleges.
• Experience in building highly scalable business applications, which involve implementing large complex business flows.
• Experience in the art of writing code and solving problems on a Large Scale.
• 5+ years of experience building backend applications. Web Apps and Analytics.
• Hands on experience with Tech stacks - NodeJS/. Net.
• Solid software development background including design patterns, algorithms, data structures, test-driven development.
• Experience in deploying applications at scale in production systems.
• Experience in building and managing API endpoints for multimodal clients.
• Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a challenging and fun-filled startup.
• Knack for problem-solving and following efficient coding practices.
