Job summary

LogicMonitor is hiring for a senior software engineering role in Pune, India. You will design scalable cloud-native architectures for Kubernetes monitoring and lead development of monitoring agents and telemetry pipelines.

You will build highly available back-end services for metrics, logs, events, and traces, and optimize OpenTelemetry configurations. Collaboration with product, architecture, QA, and SRE teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 6 years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise applications.
• BS or above degree in computer science or related field.
• Familiar with latest Java/Go/Python development frameworks and open-source tools.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable cloud-native architectures for Kubernetes monitoring.
• Lead development of Kubernetes monitoring agents and telemetry pipelines.
• Build highly available backend services for metrics, logs, events, and traces.
• Design and optimize OpenTelemetry Collector configurations and pipelines.
• Develop integrations with Kubernetes APIs and cloud-native ecosystems.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of telemetry ingestion systems.
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive engineering best practices, testing, and code quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and SRE teams to define technical roadmaps.
