Job summary

Octave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Hyderabad, India to design, develop, and modernize .NET desktop applications and web-based platforms using React/TypeScript. You will optimize databases and apply solid design patterns while collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

The role requires strong C#/VB.NET skills, frontend experience with React, and a background in MVC/MVVM. A Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (e.g., B.E./B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.Tech).
• Strong programming skills in .NET desktop applications and web technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL development (queries, procedures, optimization).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn domain-specific systems quickly.
• Ability to learn new product lines and contribute effectively across projects.

• Experience in data migration projects and working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of GDAL/Geospatial data processing and handling external interfaces/integrations.
• Experience with Hexagon Intergraph CAD (I/CAD) Dispatcher or Hexagon OnCall Dispatcher products
