Job summary

HealthKart is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable systems in a distributed, microservices-based environment. You will drive system design decisions and lead architectural improvements while mentoring a high-performing engineering team.

The role requires hands-on ownership of architecture from ground up, strong coding and debugging skills, and proven experience in refactoring large-scale codebases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience with MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of System Design, OOP, Design Patterns, and Multi-tier Architecture.
• Must have been involved in designing systems from scratch since the beginning of their career, with hands-on ownership of architecture and scalable solution design.
• Experience leading large-scale code refactoring and engineering improvements.
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
