About the role

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for writing high-quality code, and a proven track record of delivering complex software solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of software systems while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance. Develop solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
• Software Development: Write efficient, maintainable, and robust code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Angular, etc.). Ensure high standards of software quality through continuous improvement practices and automation.
• Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers. Review code, offer constructive feedback, and guide team members to grow their skills.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define technical specifications, features, and timelines. Ensure smooth communication between cross-functional teams.
• Code Review & Best Practices: Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure that best practices are being followed. Set and maintain coding standards and conventions across the team.
• Problem Solving: Take ownership of complex technical challenges, debugging, and troubleshooting issues across multiple platforms and services. Continuously identify areas for improvement in codebase and infrastructure.
• CI/CD and DevOps: Design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment and integration of code.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize software for performance and efficiency, including database query optimization, memory usage, and scalability considerations.
• Innovation & Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development processes and system performance.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech) or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).
• Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in software development.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in any programming languages, e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.
• Experience with frameworks/tools like React, Angular, Spring, .NET, Cloud Platforms, Networking - customizable.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
