Aptiv is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Bengaluru to design and own service oriented architectures, convert monolithic apps to microservices, and integrate services with embedded platforms.

The role focuses on real-time embedded systems, C/C++ development, and close collaboration with product teams in a SCRUM environment. You will leverage Bazel/Make and Git/Gerrit for build and version control in a high-impact mobility tech setting.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation/Robotics is required.
• 6+ years of experience in software/embedded roles.
• Strong programming in C/C++ or OO languages.
• Familiarity with SOA and API design.
• Experience with embedded debugging tools.
• Experience with communication protocols (TCP/UDP) and middleware.
• Experience with build systems such as Bazel or Make.
• Experience with source control tools like Git and Gerrit.

Your role

• Design and take ownership of service oriented architecture
• Convert monolithic applications to micro services

• Responsible for developing code in C & C++ languages
• Work closely with products teams on Interfaces and dependencies
• Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems with first time quality.
• Triaging of issues reported from Internal/External stakeholders
• Work in an Agile development team (SCRUM)

Your Background

• A graduate in BE/B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech (Electricals/ Electronics/ Instrumentation, Robotics)
• Experience Required – 6+ Years
• Strong Programming Experience in C/C++ or Objected Oriented
• Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and API design
• Experience with embedded debugging tools
• Experience with Communication Protocols (TCP/UDP etc) and middleware
• Experience with build systems (e.g Bazel, Make, etc)
• Experience in Source code management and version control tools (E.g Git Gerrit)
