Job summary

Info Edge is seeking an SDET to join our Noida office in a 5 days/week, work-from-office setup. You will build and maintain automated tests across Web, Android, and API layers, leveraging Java, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Rest Assured.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and active use of Jira for defect tracking are essential. The role requires hands-on testing across functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing, plus strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and UI automation.
• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Experience with Appium for Android mobile automation.
• Experience in API automation using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Familiar with TestNG/JUnit and build tools like Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub for source control and CI/CD basics.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum.
• Basic SQL/database validation preferred.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java.
• Experience in UI automaton using Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in mobile automation using Appium (Android).
• Experience in API automation using Rest Assured and API testing using Postman.
• Good knowledge of automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle.
• Experience in designing,developing, and maintaining automation test scripts.
• Hands-on experience in Web, Android, and API testing.
• Good understanding of functional,regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with LLM and AI tools for test case generation, automation, debugging, test data creation, and improving testing productivity.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for source code management.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect life cycle.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/database Validation is preferred.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
