Job summary

DevLabs Technology is hiring a QA Automation SDET with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and SQL. The role focuses on API testing with REST Assured and backend SQL validation, and requires CI/CD integration in Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

Location is Noida ( onsite ), working hours 8am to 5:30pm IST. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as SDET/Automation QA.
• Strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit.
• Solid experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries for validation.
• Experience with build and version control tools (Git, Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Experience with API automation (REST Assured, Postman automation, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile processes.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Develop and execute automation scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure test coverage.
• Perform API testing using REST Assured or similar tools.
• Conduct SQL-based backend testing for data validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Identify and document defects; work with engineering for resolution.
• Optimize automation suites for reliability and performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous QA improvements.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA SDET Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks using Java, Selenium, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, quality assurance, and continuous integration within Agile environments. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a passion for quality, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Develop and execute automation test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured or similar frameworks.
• Conduct SQL-based backend testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and business rules.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
• Identify, analyze, and document defects; work closely with engineering teams for timely resolution.
• Optimize existing automation suites for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Provide continuous improvements to automation processes and QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
