Job summary

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, perform information gathering.
• Design, develop, code, test, and implement application functionalities using C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 6+) and RESTful services.
• Develop, enhance, update, repair, and maintain existing applications built on the .NET Framework using C#.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular 2+/React JS with TypeScript and ensure seamless REST API integration.
• Design and optimize MS SQL Server databases including writing stored procedures, queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain reports using SSRS as per business requirements.
• Deliver projects in accordance with organizational quality standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Perform code reviews as per defined coding standards and prepare review reports with improvement recommendations.
• Support team members in resolving technical challenges and provide mentoring where required.
• Update Project Manager/Delivery Head on completion of each task and milestone with proper status reporting.
• Create, maintain, and monitor project-related documentation as per company standards and SDLC processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 6-8 years of extensive experience in application design, development, and implementation.
• Proven experience working as a Senior Software Developer or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), design patterns, and best coding practices.
• In-depth knowledge of relational database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in requirement analysis, technical documentation, and code reviews.
