Base pay range
Location: Bhayala, Ahmedabad
Experience: 13 to 18 Years
Must Have
- Graduate Engineer in MEP
- 14 to 16 years of experience in construction/site environment
- Preferred to Have the PMC experience in Industrial projects
- Higher Studies in Construction management would be preferred
Responsibilities
- Review and propose value engineering for the DBR's and tender drawings provided by consultants
- Validation of Shop drawings submitted by Contractor
- Can be able to run the design management for all the packages (Electrical, PHE, HVAC, FPS & Utilities)
- Review of & tracking of GFCs & BoQs in line with the Design Brief and GFC release
- Planning schedules and obtain Client approval on Milestone dates
- Should have the very good knowledge in MSP
- Must have good knowledge in Vendor finalization process. Able to run the procurement process.
- Educating and developing skills of various team members with lessons learnt & knowledge sharing sessions
- Review and inspect the contractor capability in term of personnel, equipment and other conditions with regard to the contract / bid conditions and legal requirements.
- Compilation of various statutory authority approvals. Understanding of local Building construction regulations
- Preparation of monthly cashflow statements as per the approved plan and update reports
- Preparation of Long lead items tracker and track the materials till the materials reaches to site
- Effective tracking of schedule in MSP and highlight the bottlenecks and arrive the mitigation plan if needed
- Active involvement in Tendering & Procurement for various packages at various stages of project
- Implementation of project construction safety guidelines, goods practices in project execution, project learnings.
- Participating & guiding in contractor’s TBT in fixed time intervals.
- Checking of all incoming material quality & quantity verification and maintaining a record of same and advise Construction Manager to approve.
- Preparation of Micro Schedule and tracking the same. (Highlight in case of any delay)
- Review and comment on GFC drawings / GA Drawings / specifications and any other documents that may require for the project and advise Construction Manager to approve.
- Effective tracking of Materials till the successful delivery to site.
- Directing and active co-ordination with Vendor teams in executing the works complying to time, cost, safety and quality standards
- Conducting daily/weekly progress and design review meetings with all stakeholders to provide/receive project details Preparation of Minutes of Meeting with target dates and responsibility matrix and tracking
- Should have the good knowledge in Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Identifying key risks and preparation of mitigation plan taking inputs from all stakeholders and holding concerned teams responsible
- Collecting Detail from contractors and Data for Preparation of DPR
- Doing feasibility assessment & Site inspections.
- Making recommendations or alternative solutions for problems before execution.
- To coordinate the works of various contractors / sub-contractors / agencies at site
- Ensuring Site Supervision of works and materials at every stage
- Checking and Verifying of Measurement Sheet and RA Bill of Civil Contractor
- Advise project Manager and record wherever applicable any works not carried out in accordance with the drawings and specifications
- Can able to manage the planning front from Initiation to close out of the project
- Highlight deviations if any to Construction Manager
- To inspect and suggest remedial measures for any defects arising in the post construction period
- Compilation of all checklists, pre-commissioning, and commissioning reports.
- Preparation of mark-ups along with contractor & coordination in preparation of As Built Drawing
- Inducting teams along with the site safety team in developing and maintaining safety culture
- Raising NCRs on Quality & Safety aspects and tracking the closure with a target date
- Timely certification of vendor bills checking measurements and supporting documents and co-ordinate with Finance team for smooth payment process
- Preparation and maintenance of all project registers and periodic progress reports for audit compliances
- Prepare Master Data Sheet on statutory requirement and monitoring/highlighting the compliance
- Identify Snags and ensure closure of the same with a target date
- Review and submission of project Close out reports for Technical and Commercial Closure
- Providing key inputs in compliance with IGBC norms and preparation of documents for project certification
