Job summary

Experis currently seeks a Senior Shopify Developer to join on a contract-to-hire basis. You will deliver enterprise Shopify Plus storefronts using Online Store 2.0, create custom features with Functions and UI Extensions, and weave systems like ERP/CRM through Admin/Storefront APIs and GraphQL.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering to ensure performance, accessibility, and scalable commerce solutions while supporting automated tests and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify Plus and Online Store 2.0
• Proficient in Liquid, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience building custom Shopify apps and integrating ERP/CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Shopify Plus storefronts using Online Store 2.0.
• Build custom commerce functionality with Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, and Customer Account Extensions.
• Develop custom apps via Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and Webhooks; integrate with ERP/CRM and payment gateways.
• Optimize storefront performance and accessibility; collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams.
• Support automated testing using Playwright or similar tools; leverage AI-assisted development tools.
